Here's one for our small-biz/creative friends. Remember when we first started our own companies? The biggest thing on our minds was, "Omigod, how do we survive?" After a while, survival gets really, really boring. For us, mere "survival" actually started to look more like death! Harvard Business School's Working Knowledge just posted an article, "How Can Start Ups Grow?" What's interesting is they used small, creative ad agencies as their guinea pigs.

We just helped our good friends at Blue Marble Media with another website: Transition Into Ministry. As usual, Blue Marble Media handled all the beautiful design and professional copywriting, and we just took care of the nerdy "behind-the-scenes" content management tools (hey, we like it that way). It's a nice, simple website with some good stories, and a password protected members-only area, that lets their users find and communicate with each other.
We all find bugs in the software we create. But there are bugs, and then there are really, really bad bugs. WIRED has posted their list of the 10 all time worst bugs in history. Kinda puts things in perspective.
Here are some great tips for improving your website's search engine placement by writing better headlines. Especially appreciate their technical explanation of the good old fashioned <H1> tag. We use the H1 tag in a lot of the websites we build, but since they're so humongous, we use CSS to size them down a little, and reduce their bottom-margins.
